Hi, I got the Neurosis record today. It is so warped that it won't play. A record can't be called "good condition" if it can't be played without the record stylus/arm literally hoping off the vinyl. I'm generally not even so particular about condition (the record needed a good cleaning but I did that, whatever) but I do want to play my records. I'd be happy to send pics or a video of this thing on the turn table if the documentation helps and if it's been a while since you've tried playing the lp. I want to return this for a full refund plus my shipping costs. I can't play the thing, I don't want to pay $$ for just a record sleeve. Please get in touch asap so we can work this out and I'll get it into the mail to you.

well I know when it was shipped out that it was not warped in the least, I take good care of my records. I've got 100 percent pos feedback I wouldn't put that it was in good cond. if it was warped. I don't know what would have happened from here to there. I would like to see some pics though if you could send them to me.

Hi,
Attached is a pic of the package it arrived in and some video of the record spinning on the turntable. The package doesn't show any sign of damage so I can only assume that the record was warped when it was shipped out. As I said, I am not a total condition freak but I buy records to play them and this one won't play. Please watch all of the videos attached and get back to me. I'm happy to send it back for a full refund provided my shipping costs are covered. As I mentioned, I even gave the record a good cleaning so at the very least it will be returned looking better than when it was sent out.

yes there def seems to be a problem with the record, as far as assuming the record was shipped warped is not very accurate though.I'm sorry that all this has happened but the best I can do is give you a refund on the auction which really is more than I feel I'm responsible for since the record was shipped out in good condition. All I can do is assume that the record was set near or on some kind of heater in the post office or during shipping, which would have been covered if ins had been purchased. You may think that I shipped this record warped but I did not. but like I said I'll give you a refund from the auction cost but thats about as much as I can do

Yes, there's definitely a problem with the lp. Blaming the postal service when the lp mailer arrived undamaged, particularly when the record was that warped, is getting into highly implausible terrain. For the record, I'm picking up records at that post office 3 or 4 times a week, there's no heaters there warping lps. Just to be clear about your last message, you're telling me you'll refund my $28.00 US for the record, minus $10.00 shipping, if I pay $10.00+ it'll cost me to mail it back to you for the refund? Where does that leave me? Out $20.00+ with nothing to show for it, just because something didn't arrive as advertised. If I've misunderstood please let me know. I won't have much choice but to proceed accordingly because either way it's lose-lose for me ($38.00 spent on a record that won't play, or $20.00+ & more of my time wasted in an effort to get less than that amount back in the form of a refund). You buy on Ebay. Seriously, what would you do if you were in my position?
